The Shimano SW-M8150-R Di2 Shifter provides fast and precise electronic shifting for compatible Shimano E-Bike Di2 systems. This is brand new, unused OEM stock supplied without original packaging. The listing includes the shifter only.

This exact SW-M8150-R is the right-hand clamp-band version. Therefore, it should not be confused with the separate SW-M8150-IR I-SPEC EV model.

A short-stroke lever gives each shift a light and responsive click. In addition, Shimano allows riders to adjust the paddle positions to suit their preferred hand position and riding style.

The switch connects directly to the Shimano E-Bike system through an EW-SD300 electric wire. It also takes power from the main E-bike battery, so the shifter does not require its own separate battery.

Shifting Performance and Adjustment

Di2 removes the mechanical shift cable from the system. As a result, cable contamination, corrosion and cable stretch cannot affect the shifting action.
Instead, a light button press sends an electronic shift command to the compatible rear derailleur. Therefore, riders can change gear quickly while keeping their attention on the trail.
The short-stroke paddles also require very little movement. In addition, each paddle can be repositioned to better suit the rider’s hand position.
E-TUBE PROJECT adds further adjustment. For example, compatible system configurations allow riders to customise shift inputs and multi-shift behaviour.
