TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PLACING AN ORDER
When you make an order for goods you are accepting the Terms and Conditions of The Online Cycle Shop website. Full payment of the total price of the goods must be made to The Online Cycle shop before your order can be accepted and the contract between us is formed. It is our intention to ensure all images, specifications and prices are correct at the time of publication. These may from time to time vary due to alterations made by manufacturers. We accept no responsibility for incorrect images, specifications and prices. In the event of a pricing error we shall have the right to refuse or cancel your order whether or not it has been confirmed. All products are subject to availability; however, we will advise you before confirming your order by email of any out of stock items and the approximate expected restocking date. If you do not wish to proceed we will cancel your order.
We will always endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated in our purchase procedure. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred as a result of any delay in delivery of the goods. As internal damage to packaged goods cannot always be identified on delivery, the customer must sign for the goods as “unchecked”. Any visible damage to packaging must also be stated on the driver’s delivery sheet. Any damage identified on inspection of the goods must be advised to Granary Cycles within 48 hours of delivery. It is important that all packaging is retained as this may be required for any claims against the carrier. Claims for damage outside the above time scale cannot be accepted.
If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us within fourteen days from receiving the goods for a replacement or refund (less the carriage costs incurred by Granary Cycles LTD t/a The online cycle shop). Before returning goods please contact us by email. Returned goods can only be accepted unused and in perfect condition including all manuals and instructions packaged in the original protective packaging as on delivery. We cannot accept return of goods which have been removed from sealed packaging, goods specially ordered in or orders that have been customised specifically for you, this includes custom wheel builds. Carriage costs incurred for delivery or return of unwanted goods are to be paid for and at the risk of the customer. On receipt of returned goods in a satisfactory condition, a replacement will be sent or a refund will be paid as soon as possible by the same payment method as used on the original order, this will be done within 7 days. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time. Any change will not affect any contract existing between us at the time of the change.
Once we receive a used bike, we will notify you of any problems within 48 hours and have the issue resolved within 14 days, after this there will be a storage fee for the bike. If you want the bike returning we will use our own courier for transportation and insurance, this will be billed with the storage fee.
“Under the Consumer Rights Act you have an early right to reject goods that are unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund.
But this right is limited to 30 days from the date you took ownership of the goods (this could be the date of purchase or the date the goods were delivered to you – whichever is later).
After the initial 30 days, you can't demand a full refund in the first instance, but you still have the right to a repair or replacement”
“In addition to our Returns Policy, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days from the day you receive your goods if you are an online, mail or telephone order customer. You then have a further 14 days from the date you notify the retailer of your cancellation to return the goods.”
